Slight hesitation, in 1-3rd
Happy Holidays gang!
I just have a small problem. The engine seems to hesitate like theres not enough fuel goign to the engine , sometimes it's in idle, others it's while I'm in either 1st thru 3rd. I just did a small tune-up. Chenged out the NGK plugs to Diamond-fire E3's, kept my Moroso wires, Changed in a new MSD cap and rotor. I also, changed out the fuel filter as well. Now the car does have a Hypertech chip installed. Here's what I'm thinking of doing before I take it down to the local speed shop to have them look at it.
1. Take out the hypertech chip, re-install the original
2. Un-hook the battery for 10mins, to let the CPU reset, I think so? hoping it does.
3. Re-hook up the battery, and turn over the engine for a coupld minutes.
4. Remove original chip and reinstall the hypertech one?
Any suggestions or comments on this please by all means send em my way. I'm runnig out of clues or ideas for this problem. Have a safe and Happy New Years!!!
