1971 heads on an 87 block?

1971 heads on an 87 block?

i found a set of heads off a 350 camaro (1971) and i was wondering will they be able to fit on an 1987 350 block or is their a slight difference? thanks

Bolt straight on but
May not have the correct bolt holes in front of head for late accessories
You need early style (perimeter) rocker covers
You may have to slot the two center holes on the intake if your current engine has the late style cast iron heads with 72 degree bolt angle

'71 heads will have the right bolt holes for accessory brackets. That change started in 1969.
