Car: 89 Camaro RS
Engine: LO3 TBI
Transmission: 700R4 => WC T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Open Diff
[Plz delete] Is an 89 RS a VSS car?
I thought I'd read that 89 was VSS, but as I was pulling my driveshaft for my T-5 swap this weekend I noticed that my 700R4 seems to have a manual speedo. Is this a stock setup or was this swapped at some point? There seems to be a cable dangling that can be pulled into the T-5 VSS I removed. I'll post a pic later to help visualize this.

My 89 RS was also a cable driven setup; no VSS stuff to be found at the tail housing. Made going over to the th350 no hassle. I'd say yours probably has not been modified
