Mechanic Potential Scam! Need help asap.
I just had a rear pinion seal replacement and a rear differential seal replacement by a mechanic shop. 1 day later while cruising on the freeway at low rpms going around 65mph I hear a pop and the rear differential area had sprayed out oil onto my exhaust piping.
Did the shop who did this work do something improperly and are at fault for this? Or is it likely they did it wrong to cause my pinion bearings to go bad the way they did?
Need advice/answers/questions asap. Thanks.
