SES codes are killin me, need some help!
Ok, this motor swap is kickin my butt. Went from 305 to 350 tbi, and i finally got it runnin, but my check engine light is on, and its about to just stay on forever! Ok, im gettin these codes 23 32 44 54. I know what these codes mean, i just dont know how to fix em properly i guess. Code 54 -Ive replaced fuel pump, relay, oil pressure switch, pretty much everything fuel related has been replaced, and it still takes me at least 10 secs and 3 cranks to start it. Code 44 - is makin it run sooo lean, its barely driveable, new o2 sensor fixed nothing. Code 23 is interesting, im not exactly sure what the MAT is? i think its in my air filter, and if thats it, i broke the harness connector during the swap. Would this cause that much trouble? And Lastly code 32 - i havent replaced the egr yet, i was gonna do that today, i just wanted to get some feedback, or any kind of input really. Could a faulty EGR cause all this mess? Man i hope so, any help is greatly appreciated

First of all reset the memcal and the computer connectors. Make sure they are clean and firm. This may fix 54.
I fixed my egr 32 with a $8 engine temp sensor.
The MAT sensor is for manifold air temperature, yes its probably that one you broke. this may fix code 23.
Go through all your sensors and check them with a multimeter, howtos are on youtube.
Your symptoms and code 44 do suggest a fueling problem, what voltage are you getting at the pump? have you replaced the fuel filter, what about fuel pressure? Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on?
Sounds like your motor is fuel starved.
I'm not real familiar with TBI, but back in the day a clear inline fuel filter was useful to ensure that fuel was being delivered from the pump.
I don't think the EGR valve will cause all these codes, maybe only 32, in my experience that its usually an EGR vacuum line or a temp sensor.
