Help...Code 32!!!
I have a 90 Camaro Iroc-z with a 350. Several weeks ago the idle started surging up and down and wants to die. It is showing code 32, EGR circuit, after driving it few a minutes. I have replaced the TPS, IAC valve, and EGR valve. I have no vacuum leaks. It is also running way to rich. I have checked all the usual suspects, plugs, wires, cap, fuel filter, injectors. What else can I check?

Re: Help...Code 32!!!
I had a code 32 and I did the same things you have done, but after a lot of time and money I found the problem,it was the injectors! have you checked each one for the resistance it should be (11-14 Ohms) Mine were so bad it caused the comp. to go out and the egr system not to work properly. The egr works on negetive vac presure when some of the injectors are bad it wouldn't let the intake get to negetive vac. presure. The good injectors will put out more fuel to make up for the bad, this extra fuel keeps the intake at a positve presure and that is why the code 32.Also check your egr vac solinoid. Hope this helps it took me 6 months and a new computer to find this out.

Re: Help...Code 32!!!
I did check the injectors...5 of them showed 16 ohms and 3 showed about 8-9 ohms. A mechanic told me they should still work anyway. I added some lucas fuel additive to see if that help...it didnt. Will the 3 that ohmed at 8-9 really cause all this headache?

Re: Help...Code 32!!!
As Rob's 92 gta said at the end of his post, check out your egr solenoid. They have a tendancy to crap out, at the wrong time, "as if there was a good time", any ways check it out. Then check out your egr temp switch, it's at the base of your egr valve, has a wire coming out of it. Both are discontinued by GM, and are a bit hard to come by if you need them. For a lot more info regarding this, go to the TPI forum, under "EGR temp sensor has been discontinued", and read the 7-8 pages of posts. Some good fixes, and some places to get parts, I have the same dreaded code 32, just haven't fixed it yet, due to lack of motivation, but I have all the parts, less the egr valve!!
