Re: smog pump

You don't have to remove it but you do need a belt that is a bit longer, here is what I used goodyear belt part #4060967, hope this helps.

If your bypassing the smog pump wouldn't you need a shorter belt? last 3 number of part# tells me it's a 96.75" long belt.

Belt Or Suspenders ?

92RS702 is correct.

You need a longer belt do to the new routing.

You should remove the pump.

Less weight, cleaner engine compartment, more room.

You might have to at least remove the pulley.

Happy Racing!

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards

When you see fog or “running” lights on in good weather beware. Low performance driver ahead.

How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain

Re: Belt Or Suspenders ?

Yeah I'm thinking of removing my smog pump as well since my car isn't due for emissions for another 2 years. Does anybody notice any gains after bypassing it?
