I HAVE A 406 215 DART HEADS VIC JR INTAKE 5.7 RODS 10.1 SOLID ROLLER 242-248 668 LIFT 19-43 54-14 WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH TORQUE SHOULD I GET TRYING FOR AROUND 500--530 OR SO THANKS FOR THE HELP

 

If the engine is built correctly it should easily make 550 Ft/LBS of torque.

 

well that is more then i thought with 10/1 comp with 15/1 it should kick azz thanks for the help

 

I had a 406, w/Dart pro-1 alum heads 230's, 12:1, comp solid roller 274/284 dur @50, 1.7 ratio int & 1.65 exh= .710 lift, Pete jack gear drive, super Victor int, Holley 900 cfm. It did a good job in my 70 Nova (glide w/brake, Dana 60 5:38 spool) 32-15x15 tire...1/8 mile et 6.35 @ 109mph, 1.35 60 ft... My eng man claims it was making over 700 h.p. on motor & around 575+ torque. The car weighed 2720 no/driver
