Question about dipstick

Hello,

I have a minor leak under my car and have been checking it's oil level every two weeks. However, I am not sure where the oil level should be at...people tell me it should be at the full level, yet the Haynes manual says "halfway between the add 1 quart mark, and full mark".

Right now it's about 3 quarters of the way between the add line, and the full level.

What level should it be at?

Thanks

Anything between the add and full mark is fine. When it gets to the add mark, add a quart to bring it up to the full mark.
