just dicovered my newly purchased 87 iroc adverised with"87 vette short block with double hump heads "actually is a 5.0 (gm 5.0 lg stamprd on block) and has 14014416 heads.are these 5.0 ho?are they worth a crap?

 

Those heads are from a 80-86 305. Bascially, like most of the 305 heads, worth whatever the junkyard will give you. Nothing special. Bummer on the seller lying to you about the engine or was just unaware. I would go have a talk with that guy you bought it from and see if he would do anything for you.

 

i dont think he was aware.a "friend" put it together for him.i will however definitiely let him know.funny thing is it runs like a350!thanks for the info!
