Fuel Problem???
I installed an aftermarket cam. I had a stock converted to carburated 84 Camaro. The engine code is from a 91 Firebird, but the internals were changed at some point and seem to be from an 86 or earlier. (flat tappet cam, non-roller) So I just put in another flat tappet cam, not my first choice, but since I am unemployed I was trying to do a cheap upgrade. Anyway, here is the new cam and I am not sure what information you need. Max Lift 107* ATDC and 117* at BTDC. Duration 204* - 214*. I cannot keep it idleing. When I pump the gas, I can keep it running, but once I stop pumping to gas it will stall. Even if I hold it steady at like 3000 rpm, it will just stall if I am not manually pumping the gas. I still have the stock fuel pump (mechanical) and someone mentioned that I may need a larger fuel pump. Before I invest in one, probably electrical, I wanted to check on here and see what you guys thought. Thanks in advance for the replies!!!!

Re: Fuel Problem???
It is a Edelbrock 750cfm. A little big for the car. I got the fuel problem worked out. Took off the line to the carb and cranked it over to see if the pump was pumping, and it was. I needed to back off the fuel air mixture screws and it idled. Guess I wasn't thinking.
