AFR #1034 Self Aligning or NSA?
I just purchased a set of AFR #1034 cylinder heads for my engine build. Will I need to use self aligning or non self aligning rocker arms? The heads do have guide plates, so does that mean that I need non self aligning?

Yes for shure non self align. Im in the same boat I just bought a set of 1041 195 eliminator's and just last year I bought a new set of self align roller rockers and now I have to turn right around and buy another set of the non self align's lol. I called AFR and they said as well you have to use non self aligns. Now the paper work that came with my heads has a section where it says "If using self aligning rockers remove the guide plates and replace with a hardednd head blot washer" but it has a big X through it. For some reson they must have found that that dosent work as well as the guide plates and now you just have to use guide plates only.

Make sure you have hardened push rods that are designed for guide plates.
