Who makes the best of these parts?
I'm doing a rebuild and for the following parts, I'm trying to find out who makes the best:
Lightweight flexplate, needs to handle 500ft\lbs+
Thermostats
Fuel filter (will be used with a Walbro 255 in tank)
Fuel injectors (want reliability and smoothness)
Oil pump, high volume - Melling M55 Oil Pump??? OR Summit MEL-M99HVS - SBC Steel Cast Oil Pump, High Pressure/Volume (Come with MEL-IS55E shaft?)??? OR Moroso Blueprinted Racing Oil Pump: Jegs 710-22112 ???
Oil cooler, 600HP+
Freeze plugs - Pioneer Brass Freeze Plug Kit: Jegs 787-830017 ???
Motor mounts (want to absorb vibration but be tough as nails)
Timing chain, might go with a gear set - Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain??? OR Federal Mogul Performance Double Roller Timing Set: Jegs 844-220-2100???
Balancer, external - ATI Super Damper P/N is 917780 (Summit: ATI-917780)??? OR Fluidampr Harmonic Damper ???

Oil pump, Moroso. Motor Mounts, Energy Suspension polyurethane. timing set, Cloyes. Damper, Fluidampr because you're in So. Cal., where it never ever freezes. Readers in Alaska or Canada, forget the Fluidampr. You people should go ATI.
