New intake on but few questions?....

Hey guys, been awhile since I have posted but finally digging back into my 83 Z28 and have a few questions. I have a 83 Z28 with a swapped in 350 and th350 from the original 5.0 crossfire. Nothing is computer controlled anymore I believe and no emissions. I just installed a new 2101 edelbrock intake manifold. So my questions are this:

1. My water neck has 2 fittings on it 1 for a bigger wire connector and the other for a vacuum line. First what are these for and do I need them hooked up anymore cause I might get a new water neck.

2. The fitting in the back of my old manifold for vacuum 1 of the hose fittings broke off so it can't be reused. The 2 lines I had going to this were 1 from the black cylinder on the firewall on drivers side and the other from the evap canister I believe. Again do I need these hooked up anymore or can I plug the new manifold.

3. There was a really thin vacuum line coming from passenger side that hooked to a t for vacuum from carb that got unhooked. It almost looks like a wire and I'm not sure where it went.

Any help appreciated I can get pics of things if needed thanks...

Re: New intake on but few questions?....

you should have a vac line to the tranny modulator, the small black line goes to your heater/ac doors, hook that to full maniflod vacuum also. some of your other hoses may have went to your cruise control.

The vac line from tranny is hooked to the carb and the a/c has been deleted...
