Is this the knock sensor?

Is this the knock sensor?

The sensor is located between cylinders#6 and #8. Please see attached pic.

nope. that's a coolant temp sensor. the knock sensor should be low on the block, mid way back, passenger side, near the oil pan.

Thanks, do you know if replacement connectors are available and from where. When I pulled the starter there was no surround on the wire, only the wire dangling around.
