Replaced leaky left valve cover gasket

Noticed some oil dripping onto my headers and was amazed the valve cover gasket lasted for 23 years.

After doing some research on the boards, a lot of people were having issues with Fel-Pro with fitting correctly and what have you. So I went to the Summit website and ordered the GM High Performance replacement gasket for the center bolt covers. It was a bit pricey for one at 23 bucks or so.

When I removed my ac compressor and moved some vacuum lines aside, the valve cover came off with just a little nudging. To my surprise, the old gasket is the same color and has the same design as the old. Fit like a charm with no issues. Bolted everything back on, and the leak went away. Just hope the right one doesn't go.
