help need ideas
ok heres the deal i replaced spark plugs ca the car would studder real bad a 4000 rpm fixed car runs smooth now i have dubble checked the plug boots to the new plugs all clicked but i get a small hint of a skip or miss around 2000 rpm good idle and runs fine under wide open it just studders when u hold it at around 2000 rpms idk wat to do and i need fresh ideas befor i replace everything wires cap and rotor around 9 months old its a msd drop in dizzy taylor 8mm wires that have no visible out side damage have not inspected cap yet.. is they maybe any chance that the tune i sent out for the fuel and spark tables for that area ant quite on the money?? thanks guys

Check continuity on the plug wires with a ohm meter - even brand new Taylor wires can have shorts in them - I found one on my set when I first bought them.

I kinda have the same problem. Idles purrrfectly revs smooth til redline. When I punch it it hesitates just for a second @ around 1500 rpm then goes great. I tweaked the timing each way to see if that'd remedy my problem but didn't seem to help. I'm gonna test my wires tomorrow.
