well my smog pump knocked, yes knocked as dumb as it sounds so i went to remove it well the bottom bolt was stuck and i stripped it, i could of welded a bolt onto it. but removeing the pully and torching the smog pump down flat to provide room for the belt came to mind first. i ran the longer belt and it runs as good as it did but is there something that ive done besides bad emissions that can harm the car?

 

when i got my car the pump wasnt even hooked up it had the belt off. I dont see why not
