Car: Blue 84 z28/Cyber 2010ss/rs
Engine: Dart headed, 12:1 355- 510/530 cam
Transmission: TKO 600 Lakewood Bell
Axle/Gears: Richmond 410 Spooled
fuse,fan,wire gadge
i run with out a a thermostat and fan on consantly , im using 12g wire and a 30amp fuse, now in the past if burn the fuse pocket, so i changed it to a bigger gadge, now where i crimped the two wires (from fuse to the fan) are burnt????
could my fan be on its way out and needing to much current to run there for burning the wire conectors??
i havent tryed a smaller fuse yet 15 20 25 ,etc
car loves to run around 155 160 so thats why theres no theromstat. a 160 made it run at 170, so its free flo

Ive heard that you should always run your fan through a relay. Maybe thats why the wires are heating up so bad?
