Did our cars have OBD-2?
Just curious if our cars ever had OBD-2. I figure if they did have them... it would have been 90+ with 92 models being the most likely to have them.
I know broncos didn't have OBDII until 1996, I'm thinking that's about the same time as most cars.
So, any thirdgens come with OBD2?

The vast majority of cars from 95 and older were OBD I. 96 and up were required by state law to start equipping vehicles sold in the states to have OBD II.

I had a 94 z28 that had I guess what lH8WWd called obd 1.5 it was IIRC half and half and needed a special adapter to hook up to the port.

You have to love GM, they do a lot of hybrid systems with their cars (eh ehm, LO3).
