vortec head question
Will vortec heads bolt onto a 1991 350 block, and are 416 heads what i have on my stock tpi 305. building a 350 figuring out what heads i should use. im gonna either keep the tpi or i can get a good carb set up for it. I just been reading about how good vortec heads are.

The Vortec heads will bolt to your '91 350 block with no surprises. Your stock TPI 305's heads depend on the year and transmission. '85-'86 Auto will be 416s. '87 will be 081s, which are slightly better. '88-'92 Stick will also be 081s. '88-'92 Automatic may not be '081s. If not, be wary.

Just to add, with Vortec heads you will need a Vortec compatible intake manifold for TPI.
