hi i am currently looking to buy my first 3rd gen camaro and i was just wondering how many miles would you consider alot on this car. its gonnna be manual if that makes a difference. thanks in advance for the help

 

Depends on the year of the car, the way it was driven (stop n' go city or highway) how well it was maintained. I usually give a car driven under normal conditions about 12,000 - 17,000 a year. You may get lucky and find a nice low mileage weekend cruiser.

 

i just found a 1991 for 1500 with ttops and manual but is says will need around 1000 dolars for work it has 140000 miles. and i dnt no how it was driven im sure the owner wont be honest. but the body is in very nice shape. does anyone think its worth it?

 

I bought mine last July with 173+ thousand miles on it. T-tops, Runs great, paid 1600, no rot/rust at all. Can use paint. The only thing it NEEDED was a cat, everything else I did was because I have the itch. lol

 

Is it a 5.0 or v6.I would say as long as the car runs and has all the body panels and parts for it,I would go for it.As long as its at least a 5.0

 

Mines up to 27x,xxx, but it's had an engine swap, body is in great shape, the rest of the car performs wonderfully, except on occasion my posi, that's not a huge deal to me though, don't race it, or anything like that.
