So lately my GTA has been acting up
i start the car n it'll start fine. Once started the RPM will accelerate and jump up n then it'll die down and sound like its gonna turn off, Then it'll jump up again, and so on. If i press the gas while on drive it will have no affect the car will just continue to act up. Even when on Park if i step on it the rpm wont stay up.

anyone familiar with an issue like this?
im getting really sick of always finding a new issue with my car.
every time i have money saved to fix my GTA's apperence or Mod, something new comes up!!!!!

 

It might be a good idea to remove, clean, and lube the IAC, then clean up the TB and air passages. It shouldn't put much of a dent in your appearance budget.

 

unplug each injector and check each one with an ohm meter. they sould all read right about 16 ohms each. Not sure if its the problem, but a good place to start ruling things out. Only takes about 10 minutes, and best of all its free if you have a multimeter... and if you dont, good reason to get one!

 

Ima just sell my GTA, I need something newer I'm tired of loading money into it just to keep it running..sad but oh well..
