90 bird w/noise
Alright I finaly got it running down the road,but when I take off from a stop I get a grindy noise from the firewall.But only on takeoff up to about 10mpr.no sound in shifting and I wonder if the brakes could make all that noise.Its not been drove much in 5 years.I'll drive it somemore and see.oh yes the car only has 119xxx on it.

tranny could be slipping through first gear. if its an auto that is. brakes will usually smooth out after a little bit of a drive. just something to think about.

sometimes it dose it and sometimes it dosn't.I've hardly had a chance to drive it sence I bought it.Was making ticking sounds on pass side and didn't want to stay running when put into gear.that was a loose distributer lock down nut.But this other sound sort of sounds like the wheels are rubbing on the wheel wall.But its not.Cant find anything loose and the wheel dosnt shake like its a bearing.I did see some kind of fluid around the front of the motor oils fine.I,ll check the tranny fluid again.Thanks for your reply!Bobby
