My name is Jordan and my 1986 camaro has a 305 bored out to god knows what. I recently put an Edelbrock intake on it (Performer Series manifold, Edelbrock 1405 carb). The engine is tuned nicely. It idles both in park and in drive like a dream. But when I accelerate the car doesnt have any power. The engine revs okay(not how I want it to exactly), but my 1999 cavalier feels like it has more torque. I did change the trans fluid and filter, and it does have a new(not brand new) rear end. Im not a pro mechanic, but I do know to an extent what Im doing. My guess is that I either need a new torque converter, or I need another rear end or a rebuild. someone help me out. If u want to make some money and u know what the problem is, I would pay to have u help me fix the problem in my driveway(if it is that simple).

my thaught would be you need to have it tuned for your setup besides just puting an intake manifold and carb on it

 

what exactly do u think needs to be tuned? the timing is good and the engine sounds nice. maybe I should just bring it to a shop and have them look at it
