hard start but not the starter

car starts great when shes cold but when shes hot she's hard as hell to turn over

i put my mini starter in there from a 95 lt4, wrapped the y pipe from header to header under the oil pan and dropped the starter temp from 200 to 150

turned the timming down to 10 deg with the wire unhooked

i also tried using a torgue wrench on the crank to turn it over hot and cold it took 50# and 70# hot

im wondering if i have some internal issues with the motor, it has 7k on it but the guy who did the machine work was kind of a tard and dicked with me

im lookin at ideas of where to look or try only thing i got left is a remote solinoid, but all suggestions are welcome

Re: hard start but not the starter

Check the timing when the car is cold, then when the car gets hot move the timing to GM specs. You timing is more advanced when your car is cold then when its hot.
