yes i did a search and no i couldnt find what i needed lol

Only threads i see is everyones having trouble with Y pipes. I have dyno dons headers.

2 options i suppose.

1) get a 7 qt pan and dent it for a Y (which is not picked out yet)
2) get a custom Y made (which i have no clue of good exhaust shops by me)

If am missing options please chime in, i need to purchase a pan ASAP. Project almost done!

thx

The Y-pipe is hitting the oil pan due to the extra quart. Does anyone know what y-pipe we need. I have the same problem.

Re: 383 Oil Pan
The after market deep oil pans are not made for our cars. With them you will experience the problem you have as they take up the space between the oil pan and the K-member. What I have done is gone to a reputable welding shop and have the oil pan modified to increase the area between the oil pan and the k-member. I have had two oil pans modified for more clearance.

Re: 383 Oil Pan
Or, just use an oil pan that fits. There's plenty that do, starting with stock ones. 99.999% of all people that put on aftermarket ones, have no need for them anyway. Can't be completely sure about yours but if you're using a Y-pipe I'd say that it's a pretty safe bet you're not in the .001% category.
