sending unit pics please
i need to see if anyone has a pic of a sending unit from a 1988 to 1992 camaro or firebird. i am trying to see how the lines are in the tank. does the main return line also have the sending unit on it. please lemme know.

Do you mean, is the return line on the sending unit? If so, then "yes".

ok someone see if i have this correct.
1. feed line from pump
2. return line goes to the bottom with sending unit attached
3. small line with restrictor or cap is the vent to the front caanister
4. line that stops short goes to the vent valve in the rear
is this correct. reason i ask is a friend has a 1990 camaro. he has a non bypass regulator. (bad)-he also has the intank pump still there but not used. he has an inline pump that is being used. it runs the car. problem is it is pushing fuel out of the return line. the vent valve in back is gone. the vent to that went to the cansiter is open under the hood. onl thing i can figure is the inline pump is causing a serious vacuum on the tank and it is pulling it out of the return line. sound right.
