Building An Engine-Need advice
Ok, here's what I have:
355 shortblock (older style block), flat tops w/valve reliefs
Vortec heads, with upgraded springs
Weiand Stealth Ram 7542 TPI for vortec heads
Using other tpi parts for now from an 89 GTA (305) (rails, injectors, throttle body)
I have a computer from an 89 vette
I have a hypertech chip
Painless wire harness to put this in a 71 Camaro, with a 5-speed manual behind it.
Im considering a cam from a friend to save a bit of cash if it will work:
Duration at 050 inch Lift224 int./234 exh.
0.465 int./0.488 exh. lift
Lobe Separation (degrees)114
Not sure if this cam will work but I was looking for some input from the members here. Any and all discussion is appreciated!!
