Quick Question

I have been doing major rust repair on my 89 305 TBI and just like many others my fuel lines are shot. So i want to go the cheap route and bend them my self i was looking at getting a 20 foot coil of 3/8" tube and a 20 foot coil of 5/16" tube from Inline Tube for 25$ a pop. What I need to know is where to get the fittings from or what fittings I need to hook back in to the rubber hoses in the engine bay. I have all the fuel line parts just need to replace the long lines running under the car.

If any one knows where to get the lines cheaper or knows of a kit that some one sells all the pices in. Would take that info too please.

Thanks alot, Chrome On Rust

Oh and "The Blue Dragon" Thanks you as well. For it may be able to see the light of day again. And live to have mustangs admire the smell of its exhaust.

If you didnt pick it up im talking about my car.

Thanks again

Re: Quick Question

You need fuel line specific fittings, and the ends need to be flared - not an easy undertaking. Another idea would be to swap to AN fittings. A third (and probably the cheapest option) would be to see if you can salvage the ends of your old fuel line, cut those off (leaving 6-10 inches) and use compression fittings to join that to your new line.

Re: Quick Question

Do the ends of the lines have to be double flared or will the single work
