Car: 1987 Trans am
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: GM 10 bolt
advice for changing my starter

I am changing the starter on my stock 87 trans am with a 305 tpi auto trans. Any tips or warnings before I start.

My advice is kinda lame but don't take it lightly. It's an easy job first of all so don't over think it. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you do anything. Also when you are taking the last bolt out it's going to fall, and it's heavy, so be ready.(remove face from drop zone, exc..)

And make sure you shim the new one according to the instructions.
