Car: 1982 Chevrolet Camaro
Engine: trying to find lt1

1974 350 problem
i have a 1974 350 engine that i will be dropping in my 1982 Camaro and the engine and the camaro doesnt have mounts. i can find camaro mounts that will work but i cant find any for the engine. can anyone help me?

The mounting is divided into 2 parts. One part bolts to the block, these are called clamshells. The other half bolts to the car, these are called pads. It would be best to get both clamshells and pads that are for any '82-'92 V8 Camaro, but some other versions work just fine. I'm not clear exactly what, since I always hunted down the correct stuff, or went with Moroso solid mounts.

any local salvage yard should have some. And forget attaching the headers until after the engine is mounted in the car.
