Gasket Sealer?

okay so i have a 350 engine that needs a new oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets (which i both have). i am kind of a newbie with rebuilding engines and gasket sealers, so i was wondering what gasket sealer works well with the oil pan and the valve covers? thanks for looking.

Re: Gasket Sealer?

rule of thumb tends to be black for oil stuff, blue for water/coolant, red/copper for high temp (just gotta be careful about O2's and silicone; not the best of friends)
