Starting Problem 91 Z28

My problem is this, whenever i turn the key, sometimes it starts up like normal, but sometimes it does nothing, however when it does nothing, pumping the clutch a couple times cranks it right up.

The info:

Its a 1991 305 Tpi manual

This isnt a serious problem, just something id like to fix.

Any help is appreciated!
Hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

Re: Starting Problem 91 Z28

if pushing the clutch seems to correct the issue, the problem may be with the neutral safety switch/wiring on the clutch pedal bracket.
