Okay i just picked up a 87 iroc. Someone installed a msd 6a box and used the stock coil. They spliced into the coil wires and just need to make sure i have them hooked back up right. I just reconnected the two hot(red) wires, one little and one bigger, and the two white wires back to each other. red to red and white to white. Right? The other thing is that it has a set of headers and they make it impossible to reach the plugs. I tried a socket with a elbow but not enough room. Is there a trick with headers? I also couldnt get it to fire. I had to redo the plug wires and change the oil from sitting about 3 years. It turns over strong and tries to fire off starter fluid. Ive got pressure on the fuel rails. How much i do not know. I just checked the valve. The fuel pump could be bad and fuel filter needs changed but wondered what on these cars can go wrong just sitting there?
