Formula wont try to start until oil pressure hit 30
ok here the deal in the mornings when i go start the bird it takes 3 to 4 seconds of cranking before the needle moves from 0 on the oil pressure gauge but its only when it gets to about 30 (which takes another 4 secs to climb to) is when it wants to try to start and if i get it to start it runs like a champ no codes or anything and it will keep starting fine with little to no hesitation unless i leave it alone for more than 2-3 hours then its back to just cranking with no start and then the process repeats.
Here are a list of parts i changed recently to fix the problem or just to replace because they were old:
distributor/cap/rotor/coil/hei
fuel pump relay
injectors
oil pressure sensor
knock sensor
fuel pressure regulator diaphram
map sensor
coil pack
battery
oil pump was replace a year ago with a high volume one but the car has seen maybe 15 miles since then.
Another thing when i turn the ignition key on you can here the pump prime but when i shut it off i have to wait at least 6 sec till i can turn the key and hear it prime again, is that normal for 3rd gens the reason i ask is because on a few of my friends and my brothers cars (non fbodies) they can switch theres on and off quickly and there pumps respond.
I believe i may be my pump but im getting real good fuel pressure (since i changed the injectors)and my oil pressure sits at about 45 when im at idle and drops back a little when it warms up i dont know what it could be. my friend suggested it may be the neutral safety switch but i dont think that has anything to do with it... does it?

all the neutral safety switch does is it keeps you from starting your car without the clutch pushed in. if it was bad your car wouldn't start at all

put the fuel pressure gauge back on and let the fuel pump prime and see how long it holds pressure.
If the pressure starts dropping right away then you have problem with one of the following:
Fuel Pump
Regulator
Injectors.
Pressure should hold for quite a bit before dropping off.
