reroute fuel lines?

Anyone ever reroute their fuel lines because the heat from the headers vaporizes the fuel?On an earlier post I had stated that the car runs fine until I hammer it and then it wont stay running so I blanketed the fuel lines with insulation and it runs fine all the way through the run.temporary fix.Any thoughts? thanks
