fuel pressure

i have a 91 rs that ive shoved a 350 gm goodwrench crate engine into and swapped from tbi to a carb my question is i have removed the fuel pump to replace it and had to cut an acess in the trunk to get to it because the previous owner welded the fule tank into the car if my new pump is only making 12psi of fuel pressure b4 the regulator do i have to use pressure fittings to connect my fuel lines or can i just use rubber hose and clamps plz help me someone this is the last thing i need to do b4 i can tune and drive my baby round town ty in advance

You can use rubber hose and clamps.

But you will still need a pressure regulator somewhere - a carb only needs 6psi max, 12psi will not be good.
