I just bought me a 1987 Trans Am with a TPI 305. I have a Borg Warner 5 speed Manual Transmission with a Hurst Shift Kit. This is a big step up from what i was previously driving, a Geo Metro. I still got it and driving it but i also got this....

I have to replace the oil pan. the way i was going to go about that would be to pull the motor. After I pull the motor and replace the oil pan. While the motor was out of the car i was thinking about putting in some some performance parts in it.

I was think a Camshaft.

What other choice do i have besides that and heads. Heads are just out of my price range right now. I also planning on getting a CAI. Already has an exhaust. Stock Headers, but no Cat. Converter.

Later on in the year, prolly this winter I am going to decide to put a bigger Throttlebody, and port and polish the intake thats on it. Most likely get heads or port the heads as well. What's recommended??

I was thinking along the lines of a 58mm TB. Haven't got a brand or anything picked out.
