EGR quesion 84 T/A with 355
Hey guys,
I was swapping out the original EGR on my engine to put a new one on and dropped a pretty good sized chunk of the gasket down in the EGR hole while I was scraping the old gasket material off. I wasn't able to get it out and was wondering how this might impact how my engine runs. I went ahead and put the new EGR on and the engine runs fine now, but I'm worried about future issues that might arise. Should I take the egr off and try and get that gasket piece off or will I be ok if I leave it? Thanks.

It can't get into the cylinders, and it can't get into the crankcase, but it could plug up the EGR.
