Engine ground...
I've been having some issues with misfiring in third gear under heavy load and I'm trying to rule out ignition. I have all MSD stuff and have swapped the coil and 6al-btm box to a digital 6 just for fun. Locked billet dis.
I have a battery cable to the accessory bracket, bat cable to strut tower, and a half inch strap from the rear of a head to the firewall. I don't get any resistance with an ohm meter. Should be fine right?
My last run at the track, it was as if I hit a rev limiter. I ran an 11.2 at 114mph. Tach was reading almost 6000 rpm though, which I don't believe to be right. 6000 rpm in 3rd gear with 3.50 gears is over 130 mph.

Re: Engine ground...
There's slippage in the converter, so the tach could be pretty close.
I'd expect that grounding to be alright.
