How to check what engine is in my 82 Camaro?

I bought an 82 Z28. The guy I bought it off of said the previous owner (before him) put in a 350 (it's carbureted if that matters) because he wanted more power. I'm getting suspicious of what size engine it is though and I would like to find a way to check to see exactly what engine it is and what vehicle it was likely pulled off of. Anyone know how I could do this?
.
Also, my windshield wipers stopped working and I believe it's just a bad fuse, but when I open the fuse box all the writing is faded and I can't tell which one I should replace. I should probably replace all of them though but it's raining and I really should find the right fuse for this before I go to work.
.
Thanks for your time

as far as the motor just get the casting number off the bell housing of the block. As far as fuses go you only replace the fuses that are bad. With regards to your wipers sometimes it's a pulse board that goes bad, sometimes it's a bad ground.
