350/ho416 heads.. questions

so i got my set up complete and running it has good power and is actally a strong motor, my questions are for the guy running this set up.. what plugs are u running, and what is ur timing set at..

the car has good power but sometimes it acts like it is blowing the spark out, the car raps out good till 45-5000 good sounds like its missing then snaps up to 6500 easy now it only does this every once in a while.

my timing is set at 12-14btdc i do have a advanced kit in the hei.
iam thinking its the valve springs/ needs a aftermarket coil and pick up. and i am running oe autolight plugs
