stroker clearance ?

stroker clearance ?
ok i have the powerhouse 335 stroker kit and a comp cams 269 xfi computer cam in 89 305 tpi block. will i have any issues for clearance? and if i do how do i go about fixing them?

The only way to see if there are clearance issues is to test fit the assembly. If there are rod-to-block issues, you can grind the block. If there are rod-to-cam issues, you may be able to clearance the rod very slightly, or you may need to replace the rods or use a small base-circle cam.

rotate the block with a big ratchet. If you feel it get stiff back it out and inspect where it hit. Grind where necessary.
As for the cam im running the XE270 and had no issues with my 383 but you never know until u spin it.
Also put the oil pan on and inspect for issues there aswell

That's not true, it's the duration that's more of an issue, not the lift.
