Need Help ive almost got this thing worked out

Alright so im making progress on the car but still need a little help. its an 88 camaro with the 2.8l v6. Now the only problem im still having with this is when i try to hit higher speeds the car shifts smoothly ( automatic ) for the first three gears but when i get to the fourth i have to punch it at which point i start to lose acceleration and it doesnt shift until about 4000 rpm. Im completely puzzled as i am by no means a mechanic Help Please.

oh and i thought i should add im getting an o2 sensor code. could that be it. I dont think its a fuel issue because the care does not bog down or stall just revs high going to fourth

Re: Need Help ive almost got this thing worked out

please excuse my ignorance what is a tv cable and just to add i checked my codes this morning and i have a 22, 24, 34, and 44. i think the 22 is just because i need to adjust my tps which is new 24 is the speedo the 34 i think may be my maf sensor relays and the 44 is that pesky o2 sensor. any clues?
