Hey, I've been looking for a set of L98 heads, I got an email from a guy today who has a new set, he's asking $400, is that too much?

That seems pretty cheap to me even for cast, if there aluminum GRAB THEM! and run and hide from the secret service because you just ROBBED that guy! I would check them over though, expecially if there aluminum there's the possibility of cracks in the head.

From the info he gave me, they're new cast iron L98 heads, with rockers, valves, seals, and springs, bolt em on, and drive.

They are the 062 Vortec's? $400 for just the heads? I can get the entire Vortec motor for $400 around here.
