i need to know how to install a powersteering pump from a 87 bird. im not putting the ac back on and just cant figure how to put the pump on. i know two hook up to the water pump. but theres one left over, i need a walkthrough or a pic or something

Oh boy, it's been awhile since I had my 87 with it's stock 305 and v-belt setup. There's two near the water pump like you said, and another to the right of it that bolts into a "brace" that goes around the #1 cyl exhaust port. This brace bolts into the side of the head and front IIRC.

i went to the junkyard today and saw that. i dont remember anything like that. and when i hook up the adjustable slider onto the water pump. theres like a inch gap in between the mounting hole and the head. i need this done before school starts and its been bugging me for days

IIRC there was a spacer behind mine to fill that gap.
