My engine is running pretty sluggish and really rich. What could be causing this? Have a friend whose dad says he could help me look at it and see what could be wrong but I was hoping to compose a list of things that could be wrong so he has an idea of what to look for. As sig says I have a 5.7L 350 V8 that is completely stock and has 22,000 on the rebuild.

Re: What could be causing this?

There are many many things that cause you to run rich. Faulty ECT, faulty O2S, faulty MAP, leaking injectors, high fuel pressure, faulty ECM, faulty IAT, dirty air filter, exhaust leaks, even vacuum leaks. There are so many things that can contribute to a rich condition in fuel injected engines.
