missing hose ??

missing hose ??
i was lookin around under the hood today and noticed that this looks like it should have a hose to it, but it doesnt. looks like maybe a check valve, i dont know for sure. any help.?? its on a 91 camaro rs v6

hot water valve, should be a semi hard vac line connected to it, comes out of the firewall (from heater control) on the pass side. Near heater box.
