How much is a 1LE rear end worth

Hey i have a question since i seen on craigslist locally these guy is selling a 1LE 9 bolt rear end for $250 and i was wondering if its worth buying it or is he asking too much for it.

Even if the rear did come from a 1LE, it's no different then any other 9 bolt with PBR discs and good gears. 1LE is the new buzz word, it used to be "RARE!". $250 isn't a bad price if it's got the PBR brakes and good gears, assuming its in good condition.

You bug me for 4 months about 150 dollar set of headers, tell me today you cant afford em because of school...and you're lookin at this rearend LOL..

Lol yes i am if you say so man its just that these guy will take trades for what i have and payments too so if theres a way i could get the things i want i will get them one way or another.

The gears are the determining factor. If it has 2.77s or 3.08's, then Id probably pass as the series of carrier cannot handle teh numerically higher gear ratios. I got one of the 2.77s for around $50, and my second one for 150 with a complete set of brakes and in near mint condition gears/LSD.
